But Beavis isn't all about getting with a woman. Neither Beavis nor Butt-Head can comprehend even the most basic of concepts. There's no shortage of the same head-shakingly stupid gags and middle school sex jokes you'd see in the show here. It’s refreshingly original in that regard, and does a great job of introducing Beavis and Butt-Head to a new generation, both literally and as part of the story. Thankfully, it doesn't take itself too seriously or rely on too many of the same, tired jokes you'd expect from other animated films of that ilk. Yep, it's a fish-out-of-water time travel comedy. Cue a sophomoric romp through a literal black hole and back again where Beavis and Butt-Head find themselves searching for Serena in an attempt to get laid, all the way in the future, circa 2022. Our dimwitted duo thinks it's all an elaborate production to get them to have sex with her, of course. In a hilarious and terrible misunderstanding, Serena Ryan (Andrea Savage), captain of the space shuttle Endeavor, employs Beavis and Butt-Head at NASA to perform a job only they can do, involving a visual gag you'll burst out laughing at immediately. The "experiment" comes to a swift end when the entire science fair goes up in flames, an accident that lands the pair in front of a judge who takes pity on them for being the "at-risk youth" they are. In fact, when we catch up with them, it’s still 1998, and Butt-Head (Mike Judge) is kicking Beavis (also Judge) in the 'nads at the school science fair to see how long he can endure before passing out. The delinquent dumbbells are as idiotic as ever.
